Get Rid of Disgusting Bugs Living in Your Mattress

The Good Stuff And Me

I must admit, I am a total neat and clean freak, so when I met my boyfriend and he told me that he is allergic to dust my OCD kicked in and I got all "challengeeee accepted".

First things first. What is a dust allergy? Well, we all know what dust is but what is actually causing the allergy? In a nutshell, if someone is allergic to dust, it means that they are actually allergic to dust mites.

Dust mites are tiny (only to be seen with a microscope) bugs that eat skin cells shed by people (disgusting, I KNOW), and they thrive in warm, humid environments. Items such as bedding, upholstered furniture and carpeting provide an ideal environment for dust mites. Is your skin crawling right now and you don't even want to go to sleep tonight? Yes, I know the feeling.

My boyfriend was struggling every day with a stuffy nose, sneezing and itchy eyes, so I went in research mode to help him. I tried multiple things such as a protective cover sheets for our mattress, pillows and duvet but even though it helped I didn't find them very comfortable. So here are two of my recommendations: dust mite spray and a mattress vacuum cleaner which was a total game changer. The spray will kill the dust mites and you will be able to get rid of all the grossness with the vacuum cleaner which is specifically made for textiles. You will not believe the dirt that will come out of your mattress, duvet, pillows, carpets and couch. Trust me on this one. You will never want to go without anymore.

Check out the dust mite spray and the vacuum cleaner that I used and recommend.
